Fast, simple, not expensive, little errata, but only reasonably fun. (War game Review)

In his review on BoardGameGeek, Brendan Whyte first turns a critical eye towards the components and rules and lists their shortcomings. Game play fares better: “…the game is fast and quite fun”. Whyte then goes into comprehensive details covering game mechanics and spares no criticism for the game opponent (AI). Joel Toppen: Video Preview (Inside the Box)

Joel Toppen takes us on a tour of the contents of GMT's '1914, Twilight in the East'. Includes interesting commentary on the game, comparisons to another GMT WWI game, and provides a good sense of the scale and scope of this monster game. And draws an analogy between one of the game components and 'a family reunion at a Motel 6' (good luck trying to figure that one out without watching the video... it's like another Grognard Challenge).
