Description:


LENINGRAD ‘41 is a wargame covering the German Army Group North offensive aimed to seize Leningrad. Although based on a historical event, the two players can modify the course of the operations, with the German player trying to achieve a decisive victory before the winter comes, and the Soviet player playing a fighting withdrawal, while waiting for Reinforcements and until ready to strike a decisive blow at the invaders. The game is recommended for two players, but has excellent solitaire suitability. Published in 2017.

VASSAL Module for Leningrad ‘41

Here is a module for Leningrad ’41 courtesy of Filip Labarque. VASSAL is a game engine for building and playing online adaptations of board games and card games. A growing list of game Modules is available at the VASSAL web site and at web sites for some game publishers. Players can play solitaire off-line, play live on the Internet or play by email. Vassal runs on all platforms, and is free, open-source software.

Perfect Opening - Axis Strategy for Leningrad '41

"Perfect"? We'll see about that... Mark D. pens a strategy article proposing a series of moves that the Axis player should make on the first Impulse of the July 1941 game turn. Whether the moves turn out to be perfect or not, Leningrad '41 is a fun and challenging game and is highly recommended for newbies and grognards alike.
