Paying Tribute to the Assyrian King: A Review

Eric Stubbs, aka “antigonos” provides a comprehensive review/after action report of this multi-player, grand strategy, card driven game from Decision Games. The review evaluates the format and game components and provides specific highlights for each of the game turn phases. The game uses cards to drive activities and for random events. Although the full campaign can be long and the rules can be complex, Stubbs says the game is …”ultimately a treat.”

Enrico Viglino: Review (video set)

An astounding 12+ hours of video on this game by Enrico Viglino, including an intro, review and detailed play-through. That's quite a bit to digest and I haven't been through it all. I generally feel that he goes on too long with these videos. But I'm starting to realize that Enrico may be the only reviewer left who will actually tell you what is not great about a game... and why. That's valuable information for someone who's considering shelling out cash.
