Salem Church 1863
"The Union has McLaws on the ropes when suddenly Early’s Division appeared in their rear, from the south...". Norm Smith, in his Battlefields & Warriors blog, has a go at Decision Games' Salem Church: East of Chancellorsville, a Civil War mini game. Norm likes the system, and despite a quirky end result, feels it gives "…some good tactical nuance." And then: "In the urgency of the moment, perhaps a tipping point in the battle, the Confederates strike hard."
