NATO, Nukes & Nazis [Ziplock Game] ================================== Political Event Clarification: When playing Scenarios I & II, the events "Eastern Rebellion" (4) and "Russian Offensive" (5) may each only be triggered once per game. In the campaign scenario, they may both occur any number of times, but players must use rule 19.20. 4.2 Turn Sequence - II.G The last sentence of that section should begin "NATO air units ..." (not "Nazi ..." as it now reads). 8.10 Entry of Rebuilt Units (add): ... Exception: Rebuilt divisions from off-map NATO countries may re-enter play via their side's Holding Box. 11.5 Combat result of AE (add): Surviving attacking units then retreat. 12.4 In the last sentence, delete the word "eleven." 14.5 Clarification: The retreats mandated by this rule do supersede the ignore-retreat power usually granted to units defending in city hexes. 18.5 Clarification: Stormtrooper units are considered S.S. units. 19.5 Change "B" to read "D." 19.15 Terror Bombing (change): Change the "B" result in line 5 to a "D" result. 23.0 Campaign Scenario Pre-Game Events. If event 16 (Nazi Surprise Attack) occurs, then event 11 (Advanced Mobilization) is automatically deleted/negated. Political Index Shifter Summary. Each Nazi full-strength division eliminated: -3 (Not +3 as shown). NATO HQ destroyed: +5 (But only the first time destruction occurs, no change after that.) Political Events Table: Events 41 & 42 are flipped in their presentation. That is, NATO morale disintegrates on a roll of 5-6 when the index is between 76-100 (not 1-25 as shown), and Nazi morale disintegrates on a roll of 1-2 when the index is between 1-25 (and not 75-100 as shown.) Map: The airfield symbol printed in 3102 (Bruno) is superfluous; ignore it. Lubeck (1717) should have an anchor symbol. Ignore the tiny corner of land in the SW corner of hex 1709. The river that runs into the sea through Le Havre (3738) should be considered to run along the East, Southeast and Southwest sides of that hex, emptying in the Channel between 3839 and 3738. Consider hex 2844 to be a clear terrain river hex, with the river wrapping around its East, Southeast and Southwest sides. In hex 1145, consider the ocean inlet to not quite reach the apex of 1145, 1146 and 1046. That will allow land movement into and through 1145 from both sides of the inlet. Counters: The lower 11 units printed in the NNN section of the countersheet in this issue (Command #8) are properly done substitutes for the goof-ups on the original countersheets with the game. Substitute and throw away on a one-for-one basis. (The LM S.S. division is a substitute for the original marked LPN.)
