Subject: Fw: Battle Cry - 4 Player Variant mark_montreuil@yahoo.com ... Had four players last night, and we really wanted to try out Battle Cry. We played with two teams of two, alternating seating. Each player on each team got the number of command cards the general is granted under orders. Teammates were allowed to consult each other, but not to show hands or trade cards. Play is U1, C1, U2, C2, U1... or whatever side starts first. This meant that twice as many cards were out as in the regular rules, but only one of the cards could be played each turn. We played three battles, and they were all narrow 1-2 flag victories. Everyone had a great time, and down time in between turns was not tedious, as the players were always either watching the dice fall in terror or trying to get the best posisble play out of their partner. If you have four players and you want to play Battle Cry, give it a shot. Regards, Mark Montreuil Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.
