Sideshow PBEM Sequence: For the first turn, the German player is the Deciding Player (DP) who determines weather and initiative (rolls 2 dice, one for each side, adds appropriate OFC value) and also determines the random event for the turn. An e-mail report is now given with the results of the initiative and the random event. If the DP wins the initiative and decides to go first, he takes his turn and reports the results with an updated spreadsheet (spreadsheets for each side available in file download area) and email combat reports. The other player then takes his complete turn, reporting with his side's updated spreadsheet. Combat reports are e-mailed separately. If the DP loses the initiative, he emails and asks the other player whether he wishes to go first or second. If the other wishes to go second, the DP completes his turn and reports as above. If the other player wishes to go first, he takes his turn and reports with an updated spreadsheet and combat report. The DP then takes his turn and reports. No matter which player goes second in the turn, that player then becomes the DP for the ensuing turn, determining weather, initiative and the random event. Play then continues as outlined above.
