The games are This seems to be a common house rule (and a much-needed one). I have always very much enjoyed AFA. It's not difficult at all, which is an important consideration when teaching new players, or introducing new people to wargaming. I've played each battle in one sitting apiece, which makes it a perfect evening game. It's not a hideous bookkeeping nightmare like some games, so it's very fast, very streamlined, with the emphasis on decision-making as a general.
