Interview with Emanuele Santandrea Designer of Stalingrad: Inferno on the Volga from VentoNuovo Games
Grant Kleinhenz
from the Players Aid interviews war game designer, Emanuele Santandrea. The interview delves into the design and game mechanics, map design, and the designer’s poetic approach to game design. “When we can take the time to play a game, it’s better to get an intense feeling of the style and period covered…we aim to provide both. Intense flavor makes a good Capuccino. We believe it makes a good game too!”

Gimpy's Gal Guesses Stalingrad
From the "better late than never" department, here's a very unusual unboxing. She makes up in enthusiasm what she lacks in actual wargaming experience. For all men out there that wonder what their wives are really thinking about "the games", here's some insight. I'm sure that Emanuele from VentoNuovo will forgive her for calling his company a Spanish game company, because she meant well. The "outtakes" in the last 45 seconds are very entertaining. (Sorry to Gimpy *and* his gal that this didn't get posted in time to support the flag-raising event on 9/11. Next time...)
