From: Markus Stumptner Subject: Vae Victis #10 preview On Friday, Vae Victis #10 appeared in my mailbox, colorful as usual. The issue game is _Operation Apocalypse: Vietnam 1966_, depicting an airborne assault against a Vietnames village (Hoa Hoi, October 1966). There are relatively few counters, and a nice map (which bears an uncanny resemblance to the setting for a famous film scene, and they freely admit that "the spirit of this" is an influence). No comments on the game yet. Other game stuff includes a Napoleonic miniatures scenario (Battle of Polotsk 1812), a WWII miniatures system plus a scenario, and for last issue's _Champs de Bataille_ some Q&A, two scenarios (Daras - Narses whups the Persians and Casilinum - Belisarius whups the Franks), army lists for Franks, Carolingians, 5th cent. Romans, 6th cent. Byzantines, and North African Arabs. Finally, an ASL scenario. Long reviews of Clash of Arms' _Zorndorf_ and _Across Five Aprils_. The usual mix of smaller reviews and new miniatures. Markus
