Kerry Anderson - Feb 8, 2009 11:03 am (#58 Total: 61) SPI wrecking yard - I buy/sell/trade SPI games and parts ( http://members.shaw.ca/kerryanderson/) Glad to hear Solar Marine is available! So far I've only found one typo. On the Damage Table, a die roll of 12 should be an Explosion (24) for a transport (instead of a 12). Far from a show stopper. Also, there should have been a table listing the horizon levels for all the planetoids in the Solar System. You would need this only if you were designing your own scenarios or linking Solar Marine with The Final Frontier, which I'm sure everyone is anxious to do. I am attaching a PDF. One clarification. I assume that the craters on map A (like in hex 0404) are just for artistic background and that only crater counters have an impact on play. I ask because the TEC has an asterix next to craters and says it refers to counters placed on the map. Kerry Anderson - Feb 8, 2009 11:35 pm (#60 Total: 61) SPI wrecking yard - I buy/sell/trade SPI games and parts ( http://members.shaw.ca/kerryanderson/ ) Correct. While the circles on the map are "craters", they are there for artistic effect and do not effect game play. With that said, rings of rough terrain with lava plain inside the ring are also "craters" but are not described as such on the terrain effects chart (e.g 0303, 1303, etc. on map A). This may sound confusing but it is simple. While all these features are "craters" in a geographic sense, for game purposes the only craters are the crater counters.
