If the Secundus Augustus die and has no Augustus or Caesar may a generic leader (dux) become an usurper? If at any point of the game there is no Secundus Augustus (even after checking the succession) how does the Secundus player ever create a Secundus Augustus? NO. If the Secundus Augustus die and has no Augustus or Caesar may a generic leader (dux) become an usurper? Yes see 3.5.2 point 5 : 5/ If there is no Secondus Augustus on the SECONDUS side, nor any Augustus or Caesar on the PRIMUS side, the two players each choose a general of their side on the map. The PRIMUS player makes his choice first. The general chosen by the PRIMUS player gets the Primus Augustus marker, The general chosen by the SECONDUS receives a Usurper marker If at any point of the game there is no Secundus Augustus (even after checking the succession) how does the Secundus player ever create a Secundus Augustus? 4/ If the SECONDUS player does not have a Augustus nor any Caesar, he chooses a general of his side in play on the map who receives a Usurper marker (see 3.6). All the other Leaders of SECONDUS immediately make a a loyalty check if in the zone with him: the player rolls a 1d6 per leader, if the score is higher than or equal to the PC of that leader, then he goes over to the side of the PRIMUS with all his combat units in the zone (turn the Leader counters on their fronts). If the score is less than the PC they remain with their units on the side SECONDUS. Norbert Moehring - May 24, 2005 10:22 am (#3874 Total: 3875) www.g-h-s.org Second Augustus ...who receives a Usurper marker... Yep - but how becomes a Ursuper a Secondus Augustus? If he wins a battle against the Primus Augustus he becomes PRIMUS Augustus, correct? As far as I understand the rules once there is no Secondus Augustus in the game there is never a Secondus Augustus anymore. Usurper of the Primus played by the Secondus As far as I understand the rules once there is no Secondus Augustus in the game there is never a Secondus Augustus anymore. If he has not prepared any succession, yes.
