LAM SON ERRATA 1. Supply units move only in the second movement phase. 2. The lst. ARVN Ranger Regt. should be placed in Phan Rang on initial set up. 3. Pathet Lao are set up in Laos NOT in or adjacent to a city. 4. Vientinne is the unmarked city south of Luang Prabang. 5. In the game all airborne units are airmobile, however, for full historical accuracy the ARVN rangers & Marines, the Thailand Regts., and all U.S. infantry and marine units with a strength of less than 6 would have airmobile capabilities. This would give a slight advantage to the Allied Player. 6,. Vietnamese does not translate exactly into English therefore the following names are the same: Lam Son & Lam San Suey Rieng & Svey Rieng Kuam Loc & Xuam Loc Cheo Keo & Cheo Reo 7. In order to capture a enemy held city a friendly unit must enter the city. If the attacking unit does not enter the city or is eliminated as a result of an exchange and no other friendly unit can reach the city the hostile intrinsic defense returns at the beginning of the hostile player's turn. 8. If the entry point of a unit is under hostile control the unit due to arrive is placed at the bottom of the replacement stack instead. If on the turn it could be replaced the point of entry is under friendly control it may enter as a replacement otherwise it is once again placed on the bottom of the replacement stack. 9. Units which according to the time track have arrived and not been withdrawn, but are not shown on the set up for the scenario being played, may be set up anywhere in S.Vietnam. 10. The ARVN Art Regt shown entering on turn 77 was never successful as it was employed and was finnally disbanded and the artilery allocated to other units. For this reason the counter has been deleted. For those who would want to make such a unit from the blanks it was a 2-4. 11. Air points when attacked may just move to another airfield or off the map. The helicopter gunship is subject to hostile ground attack. The helicopter gunship must end its turn in clear terrain, city or town hex, or at an airfield.
