Hi Alan, Kerry recently posted the following info in the Consimworld forum for this game. TEXT IMPORT BEGIN ================= Kerry Anderson - 05:37pm Feb 23, 2003 PST (#38 of 38) Thomas Cadenhead asked: TC> 13.0.3 "must remain stationary for the immediately following own one movement phase." TC> This is cryptic to me. Which movement phase is it referring too, the first, second or TC> either? For whatever reason, CH inserted this. It should read " 3. must remain stationary for one movement phase." Maybe they were thinking of clearing the possible missinterpretation that the unit must remain stationary for one movement phase of the game turn that recovery is occurring. TC> On the date track chart on the map, there is a number on each date for withdrawal. TC> I can't find anything in the rules about this. Typo. Old charts resurfaced and no one caught it. TC> Can the allies retreat units off the friendly side of the map? With some divisions TC> morale driven to 0, I can see where I might want to withdraw said units rather than TC> risk their elimination. Yeah, sure. TC> Why are the Canadian units weaker than the British? Since the Canadians were the "heros" TC> of this battle I'm just curious why they fire and melee numbers are lower. Fire strength is lower because of the Ross rifle, which tended to jam. Assault strength are simply the raw numbers of battalions per unit. The advantage the Canadians have is in their higher morale. TC> I am really enjoying this game, especially the morale loss system, and would buy any TC> game designed to use the same system. Glad to hear you're enjoying it. No immediate plans for a follow up game but keep your fingers crossed and keep a lookout on the MDG folder. TEXT IMPORT END =============== Eric
