Cherkassy Pocket Errata As of June 10, 2001 1. The backs of the last two rows of German units are incorrect. The backs of these units are offset by one to the left when viewed from the back of the countersheet. However, most of these are artillery units, and since the only real effect this error has is on historical placement or reinforcement turns, you can use the backs of the current artillery units with little effect on the game. You cannot use the backs of the following units, however. Until replacement counters can be provided, place a "Maint Step Lost" marker on these units when they lose a step and treat them as having a combat value one less than their fronts: - The 10 PzG infantry KG - The 42 K Cos cavalry regiment - One of the 213 Sec regiments - For the back of the first 3PzK Rocket unit, treat it as saying "ACT. 6130" For historical placements of the artillery, use the following as reinforcement turns or placement hexes under the "ACT.": - 3PzK rocket artillery: 4; 5; 6 - 3PzK artillery: 2 - 7K artillery: 2518; 2425; 1630 - 11K artillery: 5625; 5317 - 42K artillery: 2306 - 47PzK artillery: 5213; 2; 6130 Thus, there are a total of nine units with incorrect backs ("first" refers to a unit's location on the countersheet relative to the other units in its formation): - The 10 PzG infantry KG - The 42 K Cos cavalry regiment - The first 213 Sec regiment - The first 3 PzK rocket brigade - The 3 PzK artillery brigade - The first 7K artillery brigade - The first 11K artillery brigade - The 42K artillery brigade - The first 47PzK artillery brigade ================================================= Dick Vohlers dvohlers@mindspring.com 110 Livingstone Dr. Cary, NC 27513 =================================================
