Markus Stumptner - Dec 21, 2009 6:24 am (142.) De vonstig in der Schlond o ven -- how you say -- "groovy" Reading through the Blitzkrieg 1940 rules, a couple of questions came up. 1) I couldn't find out how to determine the "reaction rating" of a unit (I may have read past this). 2) The reaction rules say that the Reaction Fire option can only be exercised "once per Activation". Does that mean: # really once per chit pulled, i.e., there can be one reaction fire attack against one unit of an activated formation at any time during the activation? # once per activated unit fired upon? # once per firing unit per activation? Thanks for any clarification. I'm looking forward to the game, I really like the scale. UDO GREBE - Jan 4, 2010 11:45 am (154.) new Questions and Answers · We're still not clear about the defensive value of HQs. In fact we're now unsure that HQ's are targeted in combat at all - they're not listed among the various unit types. But then why do the rules keep talking about neutralised HQs? How is a HQ neutralised if not through combat? If it is neutralised through combat, what is its defensive value? HQs can get Neutralized by bombardment with artillery or Stukas (8.4.) For HQs see 3.2 they are overrun if alone in a hex with enemy units. · Defensive works are removed when "all infantry units" have left the hex. We want to make sure this mean that if a German unit assaults a defensive works, the French retreat, and the Germans stay in the hex, the defensive works remain and the Germans now profit from it. Only the French can profit from defensive works. They are destroyed of the Germans enter the hex or all French defenders leave it.. Hope that helps Udo UDO GREBE - Jan 6, 2010 10:11 am (158.) HQs HQs have no defense factor against artillery/Stuka strikes. Should an HQ suffer a step loss due to the combat results table that is ignored for HQs can only be neutralized. Regarding ASL: We cannot use original ASL graphics for reasons of licence. Hope that helps Udo UDO GREBE - Jan 6, 2010 10:15 am (159.) new Fire During Movement I have to admit Markus Stumptner is right. We overlooked something here. The rule 6.1 is correct. The table should read "1/2 MA". We make a new table for free download.
