From: Martin Gallo Subject: Q&A for OCS (The Gamers) > 1/ The rules say that mud reduces to a half all truck-type movement > allowances and set the cost of roads in 1 MF for everybody. Is it > correct to say that?: - Throw ranges of HQs are not affected (They > are not halved). Throw ranges are in Truck MPs and therefore are affected. > The catch radius of 5 MFs plus 1 hex that HQs > have to get supply is not affected. HQ draw ranges are also in Truck MPs and are therefore affected. > Extenders are not affected > (They still have 20MFs or 10MFs). Truck extenders are affected since they use Truck MPs. Wagon extenders are not affected since they use Leg MPs. > 2/ When the main german railroad is cut by the russians, all supply > sources east of Slobodzera cease to exist. We think that Slobodzera > still works as a valid supply source. Are we right?. The road hex running south through Slobodzera remains an Axis supply source, but the rail line which runs off the map south of Slobodzera actually runs off the map south and EAST of Slobodzera and therefore is not an Axis supply source as long as the rail line is cut. > > 3/We think it is possible to put a HQ in reserve. If possible, does > it work as a normal HQ?. Yes, but there's no point in putting a combat mode HQ in reserve since construction, etc. may only be performed in the movement phase. A move mode HQ, however has its' full MA in the exploitation phase or half its' MA during the reaction phase. An HQ in reserve mode can still be used to throw and draw supply. > 4/What happens with the organic truck after its division has been > destroyed?. The truck sticks around. You may, however, wish to exchange the truck for a dead organic truck from another division which still has units on the map.
