Richard H. Berg - 02:49am Jan 28, 1999 PST (#2138 of 2138) Sorry Nick, I'm already here . . . "RHB: Some KfH rules questions: In the victory condition rule it says that the army with the lower KL level subtracts 1 from the KL die roll. Then in the example given it says that the losing team needs a KL roll of 8 or more and they do not subtract the 1 from the DR. No explanation as to why they did not subtract the 1 in the explanation. RHB: Explanation is I goofed on the math. Soak offs. 2 units may be engaged with 3 enemy. Then what? RHB: 1 unit attacks 1 enemy; 1 unit attacks 2 enemy. Charging bonus. Is this cumulative? RHB: No. The bonus is for the charge, not the number of units. And it applies even in combo with infantry. Counter charge. It says "exception you can't counter charge if you're already in an enemy ZOC." But any time you make a counter charge there is enemy cav engaged with you and you're going to be in a ZOC unless they are charging backwards or something. Or are you referring to at the start of the charge? " RHB: Refers to being in the ZOC of another enemy unit (which sort of "fixes" our forlorn heros). RHB
