Subject: Q&A from The Gamers (List) Hello, these submissions come from the Gamers List. Martin Gallo aka Martimer@mindspring.com CWB Q) Does the rule about tracing a supply line for arty units to fire at full strength apply to the Union First and Twelfth Corps in ITQF2? That seems unduly harsh given what I've read about the Union artillery at Antietam being quite effective in that part of the battle. A) The roads that lead off the map on or close to the map edge (I don't have the map in front of me) connect off-map, so you can use them for tracing of artillery supply. Q) how do I move rebel artillery? An order (either from the big boss or from initiative) for each move? It is quite hard to note down these orders, due to the lack of specific ID on the batteries, and, MOREOVER, having to move them order-by-order is painfully slow compared to the "free movement inside corps'radius" allowed by the basic rules. Artillery is not attached to any particular division, so even the "free movement inside divisional leader radius" cannot be applied. Help please, so that I can relieve poor Longstreet from running from battery to battery in order to convince them to limber and move those few hexes needed, and send him in search of a glorious death on the frontline, instead (poor fellow Jackson already found one in the first hour, RIP). A) Dean's official on that one was that the arillery can move as they want, just as long as they stay within range of SOMEONES command radius.
