In exclusive rules section 1.8, it says Greif Teams can't use Reserve Status. Is this true, even when they are in "open" mode and operating as a normal unit? * When they are Open, they can be in reserve...the rule applies to them while hidden only. 2. The "hidden" mode side of the Greif Team counters is marked as a single-step unit. Is this actually used for anything (since they can't take step loss and I don't think they count for stacking)? * No, its there only to keep all the i's dotted and t's crossed. :-) 3. When Greif teams redirect traffic, what happens if redirected units are forced to go to hexes which would cause overstacking? Do they stop in front of the final (fully stacked) hex? * No, they stop in the overstacked hex...the Allied player must unstack those hexes by the end of the _next_ (not current) Allied Movement Phase. 4. Are Nebelwerfer units considered Mech for MP costs? * That is a tough one considering their limited transport, normally I would consider them mech, but here they are not. ---- Date: Sat, 28 Jun 1997 06:53:52 +0000 From: "Dean 'Bulldog' Essig" 1. Do EZOC costs get counted for supply traces (that use MP costs)? * Nope...unless negated, they block 100% (no amount of MPs will allow trace through an unnegated EZOC hex.) 2. After a unit it flipped, further losses don't affect a unit's combat strengths (until finally dead). However, do further step losses affect its step size for stacking purposes? * Yes, they do. ---- Date: Tue, 08 Jul 1997 07:41:02 +0000 From: "Dean 'Bulldog' Essig" 1. Can DG German Engineers become a Bridge? * Yes 2. Does DG affect a German Bridge? Can it switch back to Engineer? * No effect, it can switch back. 3. If a "redirected" (by hidden Greif team) unit encounters an German unit must it stop? If it has enough MPs can it actually overrun the German unit (assuming other overrun requirements are satisfied)? * It can overrun if desired, the Greif team does not confuse the US troops as to the identity of regular Germans or cause them to think twice about attacking them. ---- Date: Tue, 08 Jul 1997 13:27:00 +0000 From: "Dean 'Bulldog' Essig" 1. A traffic jam negates the road in a hex. This means you have to pay the other terrain cost to ENTER the traffic jam hex. How about when you LEAVE a traffic jam hex to go into another (non-traffic jam) hex connected by road? Does "negating" the road effectively mean the other hex is not connected by road for purposes of MP costs? * It only negates for entry, not exit...the hex is still considered to be connected by roads, etc. Do German bridges connect roads in these circumstances: 2. Bridge blown up by Americans? * Yes 3. Roads that lead up to the banks of the Our River (maybe previously blown by the Germans?) (specifically B 17.06/17.05, B 21.09/21.10, B 24.11/24.12)? * Yes.
