Gettysburg - Avalon Hill – 1958 (video)

Gilbert Collins dusts off his 1958 version of Gettysburg from Avalon Hill. He covers the game components, a brief history of the various game versions, movement, and combat. The game features a Tournament version of the rules that follows the basic format used in miniatures games. Collins closes with a lot of reverence toward this game that he calls “almost like the founding game of our hobby”.
