In his review on BoardGameGeek, Brendan Whyte first turns a critical eye towards the components and rules and lists their shortcomings. Game play fares better: “…the game is fast and quite fun”. Whyte then goes into comprehensive details covering game mechanics and spares no criticism for the game opponent (AI). His discussion concerning solitaire board games vs solitaire computer games is very interesting.

A Frozen Hell: The Battle of Tolvajärvi, Russo-Finnish War, 1939, from The Gamers/Multi-ManPublishing simulates one of the first battles in 1939 when the Soviet Union invaded Finland precipitating the Winter War. The well-trained and very mobile Finnish troops held off the more numerous Soviet army. The Big Board brings us the second video of their replay of this, the 12th entry in the Tactical Combat System.

A Frozen Hell by Multiman Publishing is another entry in their fine tactical WW II series and covers the interim period of warfare between the World Wars. It simulates the 1939 Battle of Tolvajärvi of the Russo-Finnish War, when the Soviet Union invaded Finland precipitating the Winter War. The Big Board discusses the updated rules set for this game.
