Description:


The game simulates battles on the two major fronts of the war: the Golan Heights and the Suez Canal. The first edition was published by Conflict Games in 1974 with the title Bar-Lev: The Yom Kippur War of 1973. The game proved very popular was nominated in 1974 for the Charles S. Roberts Best Professional Game Award. A second edition was published by Game Designers' Workshop (GDW) in 1977. This edition was titled Bar-Lev: The 1973 Arab-Israeli War. Compass Games published a third edition in 2019 titled Bar-Lev: The 1973 Arab-Israeli War, Deluxe Edition.
