Editorial / Ray Bowden Regular readers of Phoenix will probably notice that we have reduced the size of the text typeface in this issue. This is something of an experiment to see how you react and has been largely prompted by a number of comments sent in by readers. Reduction in type size means that we can fit in more material without increasing the overall magazine size. You will see from the contents listed below how this can increase article capacity (although a reduction in advertising space has also helped in this issue), There are a few drawbacks with the smaller size - more setting inevitably means higher cost to us; also we do not have the facility of an italicised or light version of the typeface in this size with our method of typesetting. However, all in all I think the extra capacity it gives is well worth these points - but the final decision will be yours - hence feedback question number 34. Also as a result on many pleas from readers, we are featuring in this issue an article dealing with elementary game tactics for SPl's Napoleon At War game system. I hope that this article will not only be of great help to the new comers to our hobby but will also stim ulate more contributions of a similar nature from the more experienced players. Another result of readers' comment has been incorporated into the Boardgame Club section. Entries have been rearranged into alphabetical order of location. The comments having been that readers are searching not for individuals but rather for other players in their particular neck of the woods. Its a good point and we hope that this arrangement will assist you.
