From: "k meints" Subject: Variant for Jedko's Field Marshall Here's a small variant/houserule for Jedko's "Field Marshall" For the Start turn Only! The 1st player starts as normal with the step 4 ( Mech movement) and step 5 ( Mech combat). Then the 1st player does step's 1-5 and when done the second player does their steps 1-5. Play then precedes as normal. Cavalry units are now rated as Mech units for movement/combat. I found it strange that the game begin's with the first player only getting half a move( mech movement/combat) and the 2nd player getting a full turn of movement & combat. so I added the mech movement/combat plus a regular turn for the 1st player as a easy way of showing a surprise attack on their enemy. Also in the game Mech units have a 4 mp rating, Armor a 6 and Cav a 7! any unit moving at 7 sould be in the mech listing.
