From: "William Sariego" Subject: Barbarossa to Berlin Barbarossa to Berlin is yet another excellent Ted Racier game design. Sadly OoP at the moment fans of the card driven game genre who missed it the first time around are doubtless hoping it survives the Project 500 muster. The following is a minor varient that affects some of the Allied Cards in the Total War deck. Card #27 ITALY DEFECTS: The card has the following additional effect. Place two Italian XXX on the Turn Record Track three after playing this card. When that turn comes place one XXX in the Axis Reserve at full strength, the other flipped in Milano. These two corps represent the considerable armed forces (on paper at least) loyal to Mussolini's puppet government. They can never leave Italy and count as German for multi-national activation. They use Axis Replacements as normal. If Milano is captured they are removed from the game. Card #29 ROMANIA DEFECTS: Ignore the last line about adding one Soviet XXXX in the Reserve Box. Instead the Romanian 3rd Army becomes a reinforcement available at Bucharest two turns after playing this card. Also place one Romanian XXX in the Allied Reserve at that time. No replacements can be spent on Romanian-Allied units. Card #30 BULGARIA DEFECTS: Ignore the last line about adding one Soviet XXXX in the Reserve Box. The following turn after playing this card place one Bulgarian XXX in Sofia as a Soviet reinforcement. No replacements can be spent on Bulgarian-Allied units.
