Mainly we were looking at the US military edge being balances by an Islamic political edge, hence an asymmetric situation. BUt good to see you experimenting with the game. Thanks for the input. Joseph Joe, thanks for BTI, its a great game, however the Arabs can never win the combats due to their inhearant weakness and the severe ZOC and supply/C2 rules- on the oter hand ,in your game they can never lose the prestige battle since they always earn 30-40 MIPP's therefore, for my own amusement, I am playing the game with the following rules:- -interchange CF & MF on p.R2 -all HQ have range 3 hexes -Arabs need 50 MIPP -Arabs have ZOC and can leave US ZOC -all SOF can fly anywhere & inflict large damage -city combat col. shift only 2 hexes -reconstitute every 3 turns -CW on one hex only -C4I marker gives +1 to supply range -WMD marker gives one more hex to CW & nuke attacks -Israel & Turks always on US side -Syria on Arab side -All Arab units can combine in any way -CW use gives a MIPP check Hope you dont mind, keep = well.
