I've been experimenting with the CRt in WoT in order to give more illusion of movement: Combat results number indicates the combined number of steps lost/hexes retreated with the following provisions: Only defender can retreat. # >= 1, then at least one step must be lost. # = 3, then defending units must retreat at least one hex. # = 4, then at least two steps must be taken as losses. Retreat onto or towards supply roads. Attacking units can advance 1 hex. Mechanized attackers can advance 2 hexes if defending units retreat two hexes. Give this a try. Seems to make the game more fun for me, at least. Jim
