Notes for 100 Years' War House Rules Defection: National units are not eliminated but become independent and controlled by no player. Independent units that are not paid for by the enemy player become controlled by neither player. Siege CRT is only used for the attacker in a siege. The defender uses the normal CRT. A force that is being attacked has the option of retreating into a friendly controlled fortress in the area. Each player can only conduct 5 operations per game turn. Naval Transport costs 1 MP per strength point transferred in addition to normal costs. A fleet can only transport one force per turn. If there is a difference of normal income of more than 10 TP between the players, the one with the fewest TP is given 10 DIP. Parliament table changes: Triple Taxes changed to + 10 TP; Double Taxes changed to + 5TP, Opposition changed to -5 TP. Each Swiss unit is to be gained individually through Diplomatic Conflict. Neutral provinces not controlled by a player are restituted to the force level they had at the beginning of the scenario. Corruption (Historical Event 34-35) is changed so that the player loses 10 TP. Neutral Enters the War (Historical Events 45-52): If no independent units are present in the affected areas, they appear again at the force level the had at the beginning of the scenario.
