Several people are experiencing crashes, including myself. During instant action the game will frequently just freeze. Others are reporting complete crashes to desktop. To the game - Very good graphics. Ive got a TNT1 and it runs fine, but I had hoped for smoother frame rate. Maybe some manual tweaking of detail levels etc can help. "Wingmen". Controlling your buddies is a royal pain in the ass. If you tried the beta then you know this. I don't know if I will ever get the hang of it. Instant action - This sucks. Plain and simple. It cycles through the same three maps every time. And so far it seems that you ALWAYS start in the same place...with the enemy in the same place. Ugh. This is not fun. Scenarios. I've managed to only complete one. They are hard. In their infinite wisdom the game designers have decided that once your tank is destroyed, the battle is over. You CANNOT take command of another tank. This is assinine and I may well bring the game back for this reason alone. (That and the instant action crap) Infantry. Who knows what to make of them. The AI seems pretty woggy. At one point I had become immobilized but I spotted some infantry out in the open, next to two armored cars. I destroyed the AFVs, but the infantry didn't care. They stayed put. I then hammered the infantry with HE rounds. Over and over and over. Didn't budge. I finally quit the scenario. AFV AI - The enemy kills me often. :) But a lot of time the tanks seem to just park and do nothing. Then move around a bit. I dunno, maybe they're in shock. :) Overall..eh.. It's a mixed bag. I'll give it a few more goes. I will say though that the developers are VERY active. They are already posting info on fixing some of the problems people are having. go to www.wingssimulations.com and check the message boards.
