In the PWG version, only the Soviet player recieved victory points for territorial objectives. The game was designed so that a Soviet historical performance is a German minor victory. In the 3W version this is not explicitly stated, instead "players" is used. If the German is allowed to score points for holding towns the game is lost for the Soviets before it begins. The historical result is a German major victory. 2: They include the missing German recon battalions left of the countersheet by PWG. 3: The map is bigger and better. The map in the 3W version is excellent on its own; a work of art compared to the PWG one. 4: The artillery ranges are increased a bit and an "Attacker Routed" result is added to the combat table. IMHO: Except for the victory condition SNAFU; the 3W version is best. Get it and play with the original victory conditions and you have a great little game. Errata was made available also; I think that was in The Tiger's are Burning issue (forgot the #). Regards, William From: "D. There's errata in #117 and #118 (and in #123, but that's only a 'Credits' correction) -Danny
