Here are some supplemental notes for Dutch ordnance, re Doomed Battalions: The KL had 14 artillery regiments of fairly modern guns (numbered 1 to 12, plus the coast and horse artillery regiments, but the 9th to 12th regiments were incomplete comprising only a single battalion of 105mm guns), plus another 11 reserve regiments (numbered 13 to 23) using various older guns. Note #23 81mm Brandt MTR 5/40 RF1.1 -386 in service, with a company of 6 tubes in each infantry regiment, but often deployed in sections of 2 mortars per battalion. Each hussar regiment had one mortar section. Called M28 in Dutch use. For KNIL, 2/42-3/42 RF1.4. Note #27 65mm INF 5/40 RF1.3 -represents the Krupp 6.5cm M99 gun; "6 Veld" in Dutch use. 192 in service with one 4 four gun battery per regiment. Usually horse-drawn, there were also 5 independent batteries of guns modified for motorized towing. Note #10 75mm ART 5/40 RF1.2 -represents three modernized versions of the Krupp M02 gun, all called the "7 Veld". One version was modified for motorized towing and equipped the 2 battalions of the motorized horse artillery regiment. 310 in service. Heavier artillery would usually be represented by OBA, but a few batteries found themselves so close to the action they served as field pieces. Note #28 80mm ART 5/40 RF1.4 -represents the Krupp 8.4cm M81 "8 Staal", equipping 4 reserve artillery regiments. Note #31 105mm ART 5/40 RF1.5 -represents the Bofors M27 "10 Veld" gun, which used motorized towing. One battalion attached to each of the 4 corps. Most modern Dutch gun, used by Germans for coastal defence as the 10.5cm K335(h). Note #12 105mm ART 2/42-3/42 RF1.4 -represents Bofors M32 field howitzer. Used only by KNIL equipping 8 batteries on Java. Could be mounted on a wheel base plate for 360 FOF. Note #32 120mm ART 5/40 RF1.3 -represents the Bofors M14 "12 L 14" howitzer. Standard Dutch heavy howitzer was the Krupp M18 "15 L 17" (Chinese Note #14, 5/40 RF 1.2), which with the 120mm 12 L 14 equipped the third battalions of the eight regular artillery regiments, the first two battalions using the 7 Veld. There were also two battalions of British 6" howitzers, called "15 L 15" in Dutch use (British Note #17, 5/40 RF1.6) in the reserve artillery. Belgians also used it as the Obusier de 6", 5/40 RF1.5)
