Andrew Ogden - Apr 11, 2008 11:36 am (#106 Total: 107) Waterloo 20 I have a couple of questions on Waterloo 20 for Joe Miranda. 1. Is a fortified hex also a town hex? This is important for the Zone of Control effects, because if it is also a town hex than units that are in the town hexes of La Haye Sainte and Mont St.Jean which are next to the fortified hex of Hougoumont would not have to attack Hougoumont, but if it was not classed as a town hex (as well as a fortified hex) then Hougoumont would have to be attacked. Since the british always try to make a stand in the Waterloo position it makes a difference. 2. Do units that are attacked in the Reaction Phase by a cavalry countercharge have to attack in the Combat Phase if they are adjacent to an enemy unit? eg.In the French Movement Phase, a French infantry unit moves adjacent to a British cavalry unit, which in the Reaction Phase countercharges the French unit getting a DW result. The French unit retreats one hex and the British unit advances, so that it is adjacent to it. In the French combat Phase, does the French unit have to attack the British cavalry unit? Many thanks Andrew Ogden Alan Emrich - Apr 11, 2008 11:43 am (#107 Total: 107) "A ship in harbor is safe -- but that is not what ships are for." - John A.
