Joseph Miranda - 07:32pm Feb 17, 2002 PST (#265 of 269) Chris Hall was pretty much right on with his answers. 1) AG airstrikes are not allowed in bad weather? (or should I not use weather rules in the AG)? Allowed--US all weather capabilities, etc. 2) HQs are affected by nationality restrictions in the rules. So the other distinctions by color or formation do not matter...a grey Iranian HQ can provide C2 for black Iranian units? HQs are good for all units on a side. 3) I don't understand the SOF vs. Enemy City explanation. Is the die roll the same regardless of the attacking SOF unit's side (Coalition or Islamic)? 1d6-3 either way? Yes. Idea being that terrorism will work to the advantage of the MI player regardless of whom initiates it for many political reasons. 4) 13.16 Basic game...the heavy strike marker I assume is the B-52. Yes. 5) The two AQ-AN units should have circled 1s for their combat factors, they are SOF units. Yes. Those sneaky devils! 6) There are no pictures telling us what the ? Strategic Markers are. I deduced them all, I think correctly...but is the "Deception" marker the blank marker? Deception. Joseph Miranda - 07:36pm Feb 17, 2002 PST (#266 of 269) 1) the psyop +1 MIPP check DRM. Does this apply to SCUD attacks (those MIPP checks are different, not halved, and can be negative)? So a SCUD MIPP roll of 4 would be 5 with PSYOP, or a SCUD MIPP loss roll of 4 would be 3 with PSYOP. 1A) The SCUD d6 MIPP roll is not halved. Correct. 2) In general, the regular (halved FRU) MIPP checks and the single d6 (no halving) MIPP checks are both "MIPP Checks" when they are referred to throughout the rules, or are they two different beasts? 3) Does bad weather ground airmobile SOF? No. SOF markers represent the focus of an area of operations, not units moving en masse, so weather does not really affect them
