Notes: Dutch forces had a more diverse complement of support weapons than indicated in the current edition of Doomed Battalions. Standard support weapons at regimental level were a battery of four old 65mm Krupp infantry guns and a company of six Brandt 81mm mortars. These weapons were usually deployed in sections of one of two infantry guns, and a section of two mortars per battalion. The75mm Krupp/Siderius gun (similar to the Belgian 75 ART TR), the standard field artillery piece in artillery regiments, was often used in a direct support role as well. The 80* ART represents an old field gun used by reserve units. For more details see my supplemental notes for Dutch ordnance under Doomed Battalions in Web Grognard. David Meyler
