Naval Battles Ships

Hello All,

I've talked with Uli, and what we will do in the short term is create
the corrected cards and make them available for download. 

I will be using Bill's list of corrections. If there are any additional
items, please mention them now. 

Here is Bill's list with my comments...

Japanese · CA Mikuma and Mogami should have 8" main and 5" secondary
armament. · CV Hiryu should have 5" secondaries

U.S. · BB Colorado should have 16" main and 5" secondaries -- increase
VP to 6 -- · BC Alaska should have 12" main and 5" secondaries · CVL
Sangamon - this was an escort carrier, but I understand that you've
reserved that designation for seaplane carriers. However, it did not
have the armor or displacement of the Yorktown class, so it shouldn't
take 6 hull hits - it's probably more like a 4 or 3. -- They displaced
about the same. Both are about 25,000 tons --

-- Difference: +1 16”, -1 12”, -1 6”, +2 5” --

Great Britain · BC Hood - should have no secondaries - these were
removed in 1940 -- decrease VP to 6 -- · CL Sheffield and Southampton
should have 6" main and 4" secondaries

-- Difference: -2 12”, +2 6”, -1 5”, +2 4” --

Italy · BB Conte Di Cavour - misspelled, and should have 13" main and 5"
secondaries --increase VP to 5-- · CL Muzio Attendolo and Raimondo
Montecuccoli should have 6" main and 4" secondaries · DD Aliseo and
Ciclone - these are destroyer escorts with exactly 2 4" guns each.

Germany

CA Prinz Eugen and Admiral Hipper - should have 8" main and 4"
secondaries DD T13 was a torpedo boat with 1 (count 'em) 1 4" gun.

Overall Difference for all Navies: +1 16”, -5 12”, +2 8”, +1 6”, +2 5”,
+5 4” By category: Main (H) +1, Main (L) -5, Sec (H) +3, Sec (L) +7

As you can see, there are a fair number of additional low end guns.
These will not really affect game balance or game play. The main swing
is the removal of a large number of Main (L) gun mounts. If we somehow
can create a couple more ships, which ones do you guys think would make
good additions to bring back some of those Main (L)'s?
