Menken Korea 2005 Rules Questions Well, we took our first stab at this game tonight, and my DPRK troops failed miserably to breach the MDL. We have come up with some rules questions though: a) In what phase can the North Koreans do Interdiction attacks? b) Are there any die roll modifiers for North Korean Interdiction attacks c) Can the North Koreans pick any unit in a hex to interdict - if yes, then the US helicopter unit is likely toast. d) Can tunnel infiltration attacks be done after the first turn? Thanks (also posted in the Korea 2005 folder) Ian Agnes DeLongue - Mar 14, 2005 5:25 pm (#598 Total: 598) There are still 397 subscribers to be found Dear Mr. Schofield: Thank you for your questions. a) II.C and III.B -- i.e., both sides are 'flying' their air at the same point in the turn; b)Yes - you caught us there - add '1' if the target is in an urban hex or a hex on the South Korean side of the MDL. [NOTE: there is some discussion as to whether the hardening of airbases in South Korea needs to be reflected.] c) Yes, but see the note above; adding '1' to the die roll would lessen the probability. d)In any North Korean Unconventional Warfare Phase, within the limits of the Unconventional Warfare Rule (12).
