That will be this weekend. We had a fun time, with the Trojan War, but a few questions 1. Odysseus capturing Hellenos = +1 point at the end of the game. Is this just accomplished randomly in the game? If you are just lucky enough to have Odysseus paired with Hellons? I can't find any other way than luck for this pairing to happen in the first place. 2. If in the course of a 1 vs 1 battle, the victorious hero is hit once..this means he is slightly wounded and the other side gets 1 vp? If the victorious hero was never hit at all in the battle, he is ready to fight next turn and the other side gets 0 vps?? 3, What happens if one side has less than 4 heros available to fight during the combat phase? 4. When assigned battles occur, such as Menalaus vs Paris, do you use the Gods that are already out from the last turn to inluence the battle or are the Gods removed at the end of the previous turn, this making this battle not influenced by the Gods since it occurs before the Gods phase? 5. Are you sure the Gods phase should be after you select who you want to battle during the combat phase? I guess so, eh? the end! In my view, it is not the Revolution of 1789, but the spirit of chivalry." - Dai Sijie You can find some answers there : La guerre de Troie website >1. Odysseus capturing Hellenos = +1 point at the end of the game. Is this just accomplished randomly in the game? If you are just lucky enough to have Odysseus paired with Hellons? I can't find any other way than luck for this pairing to happen in the first place. You have to be quite lucky : Odysseus has to fight Helenos throught one of the Challenge of each turn and capture him. The probability is low >2. If in the course of a 1 vs 1 battle, the victorious hero is hit once..this means he is slightly wounded and the other side gets 1 vp? If the victorious hero was never hit at all in the battle, he is ready to fight next turn and the other side gets 0 vps?? The victorious hero can only give VP to his opponent if he has only 1 point of resistance left (not if he has suffer only 1 casualty) >3, What happens if one side has less than 4 heros available to fight during the combat phase? See Errata: If there are not enough heroes remaining to one player to make it possible for him to select 4, he assigns all he has remaining to challenges. His opponent may not gain Victory Points for challengers who will not have an assigned opponent. (Example: if a player has only two heroes available, there will be no more than two challenges and one of those may be canceled as provided in the rules.) >4. When assigned battles occur, such as Menalaus vs Paris, do you use the Gods that are already out from the last turn to inluence the battle or are the Gods removed at the end of the previous turn, this making this battle not influenced by the Gods since it occurs before the Gods phase? Such assigned battles are determined during Phase A (Event). Intervention of God is randomly determined AFTER (during Phase C.) >5. Are you sure the Gods phase should be after you select who you want to battle during the combat phase? I guess so, eh? Yes I'am sure, the heroes, when their clallenge each other are not aware of Gods decision for the current day. It would be too easy otherway If you have a short play notes in English, just end them to me I will publish them on my web site (my review page is still empty in English)
