Guerilla Please read the following in conjunction with the Rules. (5.1) Q. Can an unsupplied unit which receives supply by road or boat during the movement section of a player's turn, be considered in supply for combat that turn? A. No - the Rules state that a unit's supply situation is assessed at the start of the player's turn. If it is unsupplied during the supply assessment section, it is unsupplied for the rest of the turn. (6.4.7) Q. Must a friendly unit stop when entering a hex occupied by a hostile unit? A. Yes - the Rules of combat require the unit to combat during the combat section of that turn. (9.1.4) Q. When is a boat considered to be guarded? A. When the hex containing the boat also includes a friendly combat unit. (9.2.6) Q. Can a helicopter rope-down reinforcements on to a hostile occupied hex? A. No (12) Q. Do trucks, helicopters, etc. which are being used for resupply have to carry a supply counter? A. No - the actual supply adjustment is made during the supply assessment part of the turn. However, the trucks etc. may not also carry combat units. (12.4.2.) (a) Q. Is there any limit to the number of times a village can be raided by guerilla units for supply? A. No - the same village can be used as many times as the guerrilla player requires. Q. Do boats used by guerillas for supply purposes have to start in Indonesia? A. Yes - they must also be crewed by a combat unit (9.1.7). (12.4.2.) (c) Q. Are guerilla units located two hexes from a road or truck automatically re-supplied if the correct conditions exist? A. Yes. NOTES: DECOY COUNTERS - STACKED UNITS - GROUND EFFECTS CHART. 1. Decoy counters should be allocated a supply counter, otherwise they will easily be distinguished from combat units. 2. In the case of a stack of units, each must have a separate supply counter. Supply counters may not be transferred or exchanged, between units. 3. When calculating the number of hexes a unit may enter, it is easier to consider the first two clear, or road, hexes entered as using no part of the unit's allowance. In the case of road movement the bonus only applies when a unit moves from one hex to another road hex by crossing a hex side which is cut by the line of the road. Example A unit uses its basic allowance and is adjacent to a village hex. It may then use one of the two bonus points to enter the hex. Further movement (that turn) is allowed into one road, or track, hex. Note A unit may never enter more than two additional hexes in a turn - this being the maximum bonus it may receive.
