Joshua Gottesman - May 30, 2009 10:36 am (#3299 Total: 3308) Looking for FTF gamers in the Las Vegas area More FC:A Questions Okay, I was about to play Tyre (actually played a few turns, then realized I had done things like built more than 1 mole/turn wrong and ran into these questions). 1. When the walls are finally breached, do all unbreached wall segments still count as forces for battle plan draws, force advantage and die roll modifiers? For arguments sake, if I get lucky and hit with 2 SEs on the second turn and knock down the same wall section, would I be facing a -10 DRM? The same would apply if the mole is completed (possible -12 DRM?). 2. The setup for Tyre has 3 Persian Forces: an archer, a peltast and an infantry (or whatever, I don't have the map in front of me). I assume this means that these are the 3 forces in there, not 3 random forces plus these. 3. The special rules say that no cavalry or phalanxes can be bought until Tyre is conquered (presumably to prevent a run to Gaza first). What about when I'm playing the 4 campaigns sequentially and have cavalry and phalanxes left over from Issus? 4. Once walls are breached, does Alexander still have to make a scouting roll to enter Tyre? I think that's it. Dan Verssen - May 30, 2009 12:42 pm (#3300 Total: 3308) Dan Verssen Games (DVG) >1. What about when I'm playing the 4 campaigns sequentially and have cavalry and phalanxes left over from Issus? You can keep them, you just can't buy more. >4. Once walls are breached, does Alexander still have to make a scouting roll to enter Tyre? Yes. You enter as normal. (I edited this answer. I misread the question the first time.)
