Magonga - Mar 5, 2004 6:11 am (#175 Total: 178) Couple of Easy Questions... Had a hard time finding this info explicity in the rules. Looks like it can be gleaned from looking at the Combat example and from the sections on invasion and breakthrough etc. But anyway, can you please confirm the following: Armor: Movement Factor = 2 / Attack Factor = 3... Infantry (by itself): Movement Factor = 1 / Attack Factor = 1... Artillery: Movement Factor = 1 / Attack Factor = 2... Airbone: Land Movement = 1 (or drop 2 zones out) / Attack Factor = 1 The games looks great so far - nice job. We'll be playing it for the first time (5 player game) next week. Also, just a nit, for the next rules version, Section 12.3 Axis Minor Allies, 1st paragraph, references Belgium as an Axis Minor ally. I'm sure that was meant to say Bulgaria. Thanks! Hello Magonga, You can find the value for the various combat units on a table printed directly on the mapboard. Airborne attacks at 2. Each infantry attacks at 1, each infantry that attacks with a corresponding artillery unit attacks at 2. (Example: 2 Inf + 1 Rty = 5 attack factors, 2 Inf + 2 Rty = 8 attack factors). Great catch on the Section 12.3 rules errata. Thanks for pointing that out. Every time we get a notice such as that, we rush to the rules, read it over, then wonder how we overlooked it in the previous 3,000 times we read it over. By the way, a five player game should be a blast. Have fun!
