From The Wargamer#7 DRESDEN Q. 1 Does every turn last one hour? A No. Night turns last two hours. Q. 6 May a stack of units make separate attacks? A. No. Stacked units must attack as an integral whole. Q. 6.1 If a unit is obliged to attack two adjacent hostile units, one in the suburbs of Dresden and the other in the Altstadt, what is the terrain effect? A. The unit in the Altstadt is trebled, the other defends normally but the attacker losses one column on the CRT. Q. 6.12 Do Friedrichstadt hexes count as 'town' for all purposes? A. No. They are 'town' hexes for defence but 'suburb' hexes for victory point purposes. Q. 6.19 Presumably the erratum referring to bridges means that the defender is doubled if all attacking units are across a bridge or river hexside? A Yes. Q. 6.6 At what stage are cavalry withdrawals declared and executed? A. At any stage in the combat phase. Q. 7. What is the purpose of the two senten- ces "Army and corps commanders.." (line 17) to "..is not exceeded" (line 23)? A . They refer to command control and should be deleted. Q. 8. May Reinforcements enter the map stacked? A. Yes. Q. 8. If all three of Klenau's possible entry hexes are blocked when the Allied player first rolls a 6, does Klenau ever enter the map? A. No. Q. 9.5 May a corps commander reorganise units ' even though this might put units in enemy ZOC's out of command control? A. Yes. Q. 11 At the start of the game, are the morale markers placed at 'zero' on the Demoralization track? A. Yes. As the relevant corps loses morale, the marker is advanced until it reaches or passes the box containing the corps identification, at which time the corps becomes demoralized. Q. 11.1 Do adverse artillery bombardment results affect morale? A. Only when the artillery is attacking an adjacent enemy, unit. Artillery which makes an unsuccessful bombardment on a non-adjacent enemy unit does not lose morale points. Q. 1.5 Should Marmont's 6 ha unit be a 4 ha? A. Qui. Q. Units Has Schwanzenburg's unit lost its II marking? A. Yes. He can control up to two corps and two units. Q. Map What is the significance of the three shades of blue on the turn record chart? A. Light blue means light rain, medium blue means heavy rain, dark blue means light.
