From: Lewis Pulsipher Subject: [eurobrit] Addition to draft errata One addition to the clarifications/errata, a result of a discussion on Boardgamegeek: Page 15. There may be some confusion over Limes vs. holding points for the Romans in Round V. The Romans score Limes points instead of normal holding/occupation points in Round V. Limes is a special kind of holding, where the Romans do not get points for an area containing a burned fort even if they have an army there. The idea of Limes is that the Romans have been trying to defend "civilization" throughout Britain for the length of their time there, and where there's a burned fort they failed, hence receiving no Limes points for that area. There is a separate article about the rationale behind the use of "forts" posted on the Web site. (Notice that the Roman armies actually protect the fort, rather than the fort protect the armies: that's because the fort represents Roman civilization and infrastructure (including any fortifications that might be in the area) rather than a single physical structure). __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
