Hi, Using the guidance that Ulrich has kindly provided, and adding the errata from PRP's home page I would like to submit this for consideration as the 'latest' Q&A for Black Day for the German Army. If you are happy with it I will post it to Grognards Regards Chris Black Day for the German Army Rule 10.1 Terrain Effects on Combat Q. What happens if some of the attacking units are attacking across a Front Line Trenchline hexside and some of the attacking units are not? (this question would also apply to a Reserve Trenchline). A. The Defender receives the lesser modifier (for Front Line Trenchline one shift left, and for Reserve Trenchline no shift). Rule 13.3 Tanks in Combat Q. Does each tank unit in a given combat provide a shift (ie if there are 2 tank units stacked with an infantry unit attacking; is there a two column shift or is it simply a one column shift because there are tanks involved?) A. There is a maximum of a one column shift Clarifications/Corrections Rule 10.2 Pinned Units First sentence should read: "Units that were pinned by artillery fire suffer a one column shift to the right when attacked and if they are involved in an attack, that attack suffer a one column shift to the left." The 33rd Division that begins the game set up in Hex 3422 is the US unit. All other units listed as setting up down to Hex 4824 are British, Australian (marked 'A'), or Canadian (marked 'C'). German and Bavarian regimental counters are back printed, but they have only one combat step each and are lost if that step becomes a casualty -- they do not 'flip' like divisional counters do. The German Division Breakdown chart lists the 54 R Div as having the 246th Regt, and the set up on page 7 lists the 245th Regt, use the counter that is marked as the 26th Regt/54R Division.
