ATLANTIS 12,500 B. C. RULES SUPPLEMENT The following points are added for clarification. 1. Combat rule 1. states traditional ground units are on land and operation which means they must not be in hovercraft when attacking. 2. Stacking rules of 3 ground and 3 air apply to any type of air unit, drone, hover, rocket bomber or saucer. Stacked aircraft on the ground should be turned upside down for clarity since hovers and saucers are never required to land except to pick up troops. 3. Dots, triangles and traditional air base symbols may be used as bases for bombers. 4. Replacements may be taken anywhere in Atlantis at the beginning of the Atlanteans turn and anywhere else for the allies at the beginning of their turn. 5. There is no zone of control in this game and all attacks are voluntary with the exception of monster attacks. 6. Monsters may destroy up to one unprotected hover flying overhead per turn if in the same hex. 7. Laser saucers must be over the hex they fire at, laser flak-artillery has a two hex range. 8. Rocket bombers have a range one way of 24 and always must fly back to a base after making a bombing run. 9. Drones may eliminate any piece including a monster. 10. My under rule 11 special rules is an error, it should read mu not my. We caught that before the rules went to the printer but the correction was not made. 11. Tactical hints (one each to be fair) LS saucers should be used against multiple unit stacks in case a hot streak of hits is rolled thus getting the best possible use of the powerful lasers. Laser flak can be transported by a hover to a square two hexes away from a target and used very effectively that way against any enemy unit.
