RHB Questions for Alsace 1944 (VV#59) 1) An infantry unit that becomes fatigued has 1 AP. Removing fatigue costs 2AP. So how do you remove it? 2) How many support points does the defender get in combat? 1 and 2 per the combat type as for the attacker? If so, it seems there isn't much advantage to a prepared attack. RHB 3) When an Out of Command units tries to activate and fails, is it done for the turn, or can it try again next activation? The rules say you become fatigued immediately, which would mean it starts its "extra" activation with 1 less AP. But then, the rules say you would have to try to recover immediately if fatigued, which would mean the "extra" action you get from being fatigued would have to be used to recover fatigue! Christophe Gentil-Perret - May 11, 2006 2:25 am (#4320 Total: 4321) Alsace 1944 : fatigue 1) An infantry unit that becomes fatigued has 1 AP. Removing fatigue costs 2AP. So how do you remove it? Removing fatigue cost all your AP. 4) The timing of fatigue is a bit unclear. The rules say you become fatigued immediately, which would mean it starts its "extra" activation with 1 less AP. But then, the rules say you would have to try to recover immediately if fatigued, which would mean the "extra" action you get from being fatigued would have to be used to recover fatigue! Recovery of fatigue occurs at the following activation, not as soon as unit becomes fatigued. So timing of fatigue is: 1st turn 1st activation of unit - normal 2nd activation of unit - fatigued -1AP and combat strength halved 2nd turn 1st activation : recovery of fatigue I'll clarify it in the next game using this system.
