ERRATA Condottieri (Wargamer #54) from Wargamer #58 *...* indicates italic type **...** indicates boldface type Q) May disrupted gunners reload and fire bombards? A) Yes. Q) When more than one unit fires at the same target and the firing units are at different ranges, what line on the Range/Column Shifts Table is used? A) There are two options: 1) Resolve each fire attack seperately, not combining the attack, which would allow a target hex to be attacked several times in a phase. 2) Combine the attack, but use the line for the firing unit that is farthest from the hex. Q) Is the Range/Column Shifts Table used for bombard fire combat? A) No. Q) Must units that stack together face the same direction? A) If the units that are stacked have specific facing orientations, then they must face the same way. Q) May archers that dismount in the Second Movement Phase perform combat in the Third Longbow Fire Phase? A) No. **Counter Pieces:** The range has been misstated on the crossbowmen and archer units. Instead of the ranges shown, the rules should be followed (Crossbow Fire 10.9.3; Longbow Fire 10.10.5) providing a range of three (3) hexes for crossbow fire and four (4) for longbow fire. **Charts:** *Leader Wounds Chart* - Note that Ubaldini and d'Azzo are the same person. The name d'Azzo is used on his leader piece (his full name was Giovanni d'Azzo delgi Ubaldini). *Range/Column Shifts* - The effect of range was explored during the development phase of producing the game. This chart when applied to all missile fire is quite severe. Players may elect use of the chart as an option. An alternate arguemnt is that the wet day would have diminished the normal effect of fire. As an option, players may use the bombard Fire Combat Results Table to resolve all Fire Combat. **Rules:** *Stacking* - Addition: 8.7 Units which are stacked together: a) if attacking in a melee combat must be designated to attack the same enemy unit(s); b) if defending in a melee combat, must be attacked together and their mele combat strengths are combined. *Melee Combat* - Addition: 11.4.2 Units wich are stacked together: a) if attacking in a melee combat must be designated to attack the same enemy unit(s); b) if defending in a melee combat, must be attacked together and their mele combat strengths are combined.
