From: epass@nyx.net (Eric Pass) Subject: Battles for the Ardennes; St. Vith quad: Set-up The placement for the units in St. Vith when played individually is a little murky so I have listed it below, complete with all known set-up errata. If anyone spots an error, please inform me at epass@nyx.net and I'll correct the master copy. Once complete, it will be uploaded to Grogard.com. The basis of this file is the St.Vith set-up positions which appears on the units themselves. SPI included a photocopy of the St. Vith countersheet so players could identify which units are St. Vith units and informed the players that there are 22 American and 41 German units on the map at the start but that is a sub-optimal solution. This file uses the hex location located on the counter modified by the Scenario Special Rules for St. Vith (18.1) marked by a '*' and errata from Fire & Movement #20 page 37, dated Jan/Feb, 1980, marked by a '~'. As a result, there are now only 21 American units on the map at start while the 41 German units remain in place. 'IMP' indicates an Improved Position marker. ST.
