Dav Vandenbroucke Again - 06:47am Nov 30, 1999 PST (#944 of 954) Currently playing Vietnam Battles & Master of Magic Here are some additional Vietnam Battles corrections, which Joe was nice enough to tell me in an email exchange yesterday: 1. The retreat rules state that units are to retreat into vacant hexes in preference to displacing friendly units. Is that intended to force units to retreat into vacant enemy controlled hexes (and thereby being disrupted) before causing displacement? Ignore the business about "displacement." It should have been cut out. Retreating into an enemy ZOC is a lower priority than retreating into a non-controlled hex. 2. The CRT doesn't have a +8 column. Which one should be used? The +8 column should be part of the 6-7 column. Finally, just out of curiosity, did the historical battles use any of the contingency reinforcements? Historical contingent reinforcements: Hue scenario, US brought in 2/101 brigade.
