Reply to: RE>STUPID: Blood on Tigris Question Grant Goodman asks Another Blood on the Tigris Q&A: Are the Ford vans affected by the recent recall announcement? Should there be an optional rule for the effects of steering-column fires? Rule: if a Ford van is going to move, roll three dice. On a '3' the van catches fire and is destroyed. If the van is carrying other units/supplies, consult the "Ford Van Steering Column Fire Saving Roll Table," and roll one die: Ford Van Steering Column Fire Saving Roll Table 1-3: drivers put out fires; no effect on units/supplies 4-5: drivers and units bail out, but supplies are destroyed 6: van equipped with Pinto model auxilliary fuel tank; all units and supplies destroyed Each time a Ford van catches fire, all Ford vans are out of play in the following turn, in which the British Army conducts an Official Investigation. If a unit is ever destroyed due to a Ford van fire, all Ford vans are immediately removed from play as Ford recalls them to avoid additional lawsuits. Sean Barnett
